National Law University, Delhi (abbreviated as NLUD) is a law university situated in Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi, India. The university was established in 2008 on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. The Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi to function as the University's Chancellor whereas and the administration is managed by the Vice-Chancellor.
NLUD conducted every year "All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)" test for the admission to its undergraduate B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programme, the university also offers one year postgraduate programme in LL.M and the admission will be done through a written test which is conducted by the University followed by an interview.
This year in 201,8 for the first time MHRD released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the law institutes and NLUD was ranked 2nd in law ranking in India.
